About The Author
Mia Marko was born in Bratislava, Slovakia and first read tales like that of Psyche and Eros in German, with her grandmother. Her favorite novel is the classic swashbuckler The Count of Monte Cristo (or Der Graf von Monte Christo, as they read it together one summer). She grew up without a TV in the house and learned to write short stories and poetry for entertainment. She lives in New Jersey with her family, has her MBA from Rutgers, and works as a pharmaceutical marketer by day. She lives with depression but refuses to suffer from it. Without it, The Delicate, Passionate World could not have been written. It is her first novel.
